Rucola

Rucola is a terminal-based markdown note manager to view statistics, explore connections and launch editing and viewing applications. The project was born in February 2024 from my own desire for a powerful note management system that works purely in the terminal and is currently still in active development (and use) by myself and a small but dedicated community of contributors.

Rucola is implemented almost entirely in the Rust programming language.

PhyTeXia

PhyTeXia is a LaTeX package for LuaLaTeX that empowers users to write guides, papers and other documents about the trading card game Magic: The Gathering produced by Wizards of the Coast. It provides macros that allow the input of game-related symbols as well as decks lists and card images.

PhyTeXia is currently a work-in-progress, but already contains the following features:

Implemented Feature Work-in-Progress
Mana symbols & more iconography Card tooltips
Diplay Cards Display backsides, specific printings, etc.
Link to cards in glossaries or online via Scryfall Diplay deck lists

PhyTeXia depends heavily on the site Scryfall and its amazing API, which I can only recommend wholeheartedly for any Magic enthusiast.

LaTeX Basics

During my work for the elite study programme 'MINT+' at the university of Würzburg, I developed a short script to introduce previously unfamiliar teaching students to LaTeX typesetting. The script is available here and contains almost 80 pages of explanations and examples starting from the ground up. To anyone who is interested in good typography, I also suggest this script on typography written by Philip Schwartz and Florian Krankhold. Both documents are currently available only in German.

G+Smo

Related to my work at JKU Linz, I have been a contributor of the G+Smo library. G+Smo, short for Geometry + Simulation modules, is a C++ library for isogeometric analysis (IGA). G+Smo aims at the seamless integration of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
